At the University of Juba, we view Information and Communication Technology not merely as a set of tools, but as the backbone of our academic and administrative excellence. In an increasingly globalized world, our mission is to move beyond basic connectivity to a fully integrated digital ecosystem.

Under my leadership, the Directorate of ICT is committed to three strategic pillars. Digitalization, Security, and Accessibility. We are currently focused on deploying a robust Campus Management System to streamline the student life cycle, establishing a modern Data Center to secure institutional records, and enhancing our Learning Management Systems to support world-class research and distance learning.

Our goal is simple, to provide a seamless, high-speed digital experience for every student, faculty member, and staff member, ensuring that the University of Juba remains at the forefront of innovation in the Republic of South Sudan and beyond.

Digital Systems & Web Presence

• Website & Information Systems: Management of the University’s official website, database administration, and the upcoming Campus Management System.
• Software Solutions: Development and maintenance of internal digital tools to automate administrative processes.

Infrastructure & Connectivity

• Network Management: Design, implementation, and 24/7 monitoring of the university-wide fiber and wireless backbone.
• Support & Maintenance: Dedicated technical assistance for staff and students, ensuring all computing hardware and peripherals are operational.
• Hardware: Specialized maintenance of server-room equipment and laboratory hardware.

Academic Facilitation & Digital Events

• Video Conferencing Services: Providing high-definition virtual meeting solutions for international collaborations, and remote lectures.
• Smart Hall Management: Technical management of university halls, including audio-visual setups, projection systems, and digital event support.
• Hybrid Learning Support: Enabling the technology required for distance learning and blended classrooms.

Institutional Security & Identity

• ID Card Production: Design and issuance of secure, high-quality identification cards for students and staff.
