Welcome to Directorate of Planning, Innovation and Quality Assurance

The Directorate of Planning, Innovation and Quality Assurance is newly established, and serves the following purpose.

  1. Conduct short, medium and long-term developmental plans of the University.
  2. Promote innovation across the University especially in key areas, including STEM, which are crucial for the development of the country.
  3. Ensure observance of quality standards in the realms of teaching and research as well as produce regular reports on quality of teaching and research in the University.
  4. Produce the monthly news bulletin of the University; and
  5. Collaborate with the quality assurance institution under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology.

Department of Planning

This department is responsible for short, medium and long-term planning for the University.

Department of Innovation

It is responsible for innovation in the University through organizing events and partnering with other institutions to encourage staff and students to be innovative in teaching and learning as well as research.

Department of Quality Assurance

This department is responsible for quality assurance in the University. It ensures that the University complies with relevant quality standards. Moreover, it publishes regular reports on quality of teaching and research in the University.
