Welcome to School of Architecture, Land Management, and Urban and Regional Planning (SALMURP)

The School of Architecture, Land Management, and Urban and Regional Planning (SALMURP). is a newly established School of the University of Juba, and was established after an approval was made by the University Senate Meeting No. 218 held on two consecutive days of 19/10/2020 and 30/10/2020.

Objectives
  1. The School of Architecture, Land Management, and Urban and Regional planning program is aimed at producing development planning professionals capable of promoting and implementing planning principles in line with socio-economic principles.
  2. The Curriculum is set up, in such a way as, to address the current and the projected national needs of the country with the graduates capable of working in various planning departments.
  3. In order to realize these, the School of aims at establishing a well-staffed and a well-equipped fully-fledged departments of Architecture, Land Management, and Urban and Regional Planning that is capable of:
    1. Training Architects, Land Management experts and Urban Planners to degree levels who will be capable of taking responsibilities in the design and management of building and Planning Projects.
    2. Conducting applied researches relevant to the needs and needs and demands of South Sudan as a new nation.
Admission Requirement

The students admitted to any program of the School shall meet the following requirements

  1. Obtain the grades in the South Sudan Secondary School Examination Certificate or its equivalent for admission.
  2. Meet all the requirements of admission of the Ministry of Higher Education, science and Technology.
  3. Pay the prescribed fees in accordance with the University regulations.
