Open Education College(OEC)

WELCOME TO OPEN EDUCATION COLLEGE (OEC)

Open Education College (OEC) was established to promote education delivery to a wider group of prospective students. Significantly, the OEC targets working adults who wish to upgrade their professional skills and education. For instance, many disadvantaged young populations are unable to enroll in colleges and universities across the country and outside the country due to economic hardships and other life challenges. It is imperative to note that through a mix of face-to-face lectures, electronic learning, and research outside the ordinary classroom environment, any student seeking to obtain a higher education degree now has the chance to do so. Besides, mid-career employees can now upgrade their skills and those who have stopped their studies halfway can complete their studies and become professionals in their fields or areas of specialization. Through distance education, the University allows many individuals to improve their skills for employment opportunities and career advancement.

At the same time, the current students at the Centre shall be phased out by the university regulations.
