Undergraduate Program

School of Public Service (SPS)

The School of Public Service was established on June 13, 2015 and the idea of launching this School was in fact initiated early in 2012 on how to establish a leadership academy for public servants as pre-dated the CPA.

SPS is mobilizing in three phases.

In Phase 1: we are offering graduate degrees

In Phase 2: we plan to partner with ministries, legislatures, NGOs, and International Organizations to offer certificate courses and customized programs. We also hope to deliver programs in the States.

In Phase 3: SPS will roll-out specialized programs in collaboration with the other Faculties of the University, establish a Visiting Practitioners Program, and promote leadership through a world class Research Center. In addition to the technical skills they bring to the job, those working in the public sector need strong leadership and management capabilities, regardless of the sector in which they work. Our students work for governments, NGOs, and International organizations like the UN. They come from every region in the country and range in age from 26 to 56 years old.

Mission

“To develop outstanding public sector leaders to serve with South Sudan’s Private sector,  NGOs, IOs, and Government institutions.”
