The University of Juba held its 25th convocation ceremony where more than 4,500 students graduated in 2023.

In recent years, the University of Juba has demonstrated a consistent commitment to organizing timely graduation ceremonies, a testament to the dedication of the institution’s entire administration. This dedication has resulted in the University of Juba’s recognition as a unique and distinct institution compared to other universities across the country.

The University of Juba’s convocation ceremony is customarily held annually at the end of each academic year’s two semesters. The most recent graduation ceremony, held on December 2nd, 2023, saw over 4,500 graduates receiving their degrees, a testament to the institution’s commitment to timely graduation. The ceremony was held at the Dr. John Garang Mausoleum and attended by the graduates’ families, distinguished guests, and dignitaries.

The occasion was graced by Vice President Dr. James Wani Igga, who represented President Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit, the Chancellor of the University of Juba, and the other public universities in the country. The University of Juba aims to continue its tradition of conducting timely and annual graduations by holding its 26th convocation ceremony at the end of the current academic year. This commitment to timely graduation is a hallmark of the University of Juba, and the institution is dedicated to maintaining its reputation for excellence.
