The University of Juba receives a donation of computers and UPS from China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC).

China National Petroleum Corporation is one of the largest international oil and gas producers and suppliers, with businesses covering oil and gas operations, technical services, engineering and construction, equipment manufacturing, financial services, and renewable energy development.

As an international petroleum company, CNPC has not only cooperated with the South Sudanese government in the field of petroleum exploration development by investing in DPOC and GPOC with other foreign partners but has always proactively taken its corporate social responsibility. For example, CNPC donated to build the main computer Lab of the University of Juba, the third protection of civilian camp in Juba, Paloch Friendship Hospital in Upper Nile state, etc since they set foot in South Sudan.

From 2021 up to now, the supplies and facilities worth more than 6 million US Dollars have been made by CNPC to South Sudan through the implementation of various service projects, underscoring CNPC’s high sense of corporate social responsibility and its corporation philosophy of mutual benefit for common development.

As a reliable and strategic partner of South Sudan, CNPC is committed to further deepening the petroleum cooperation and contributing more to the social and economic development of South Sudan.
